Portland, ME
3,075 miles. New Orleans, LA to Portland, ME. I made it in one piece. I am stopping here for this segment of the expedition. After a hot shower and putting on some clean dry clothes, I am out to explore Portland. Thank you for everyone that cheered me on, my amazing sponsors, and everyone who
I’m in New Hampshire
Today was a nice paddle up the coast of New Hampshire. I made it up to Portsmouth where I will take the next day or two off to explore the town. It is BEAUTIFUL up here. The weather was amazing and the leaves are all beginning to flip. Life is good on the water.
Triple G Scaffolding refinished my boat!
I was held up for the past couple of days due to high winds and rough seas. I received a message from Bob and his wife, Pam. They offered to pick me up off the beach to her out of the weather. I took my kayak to their shop. The next day, we noticed some

I last a battle ship and some really old sail boats (pirate ships). The New England coastline is absolutely stunning

Week Seven – The river host
Tom and Katie were up early this morning. I got up around 7:00. Katie was putting together breakfast. Bacon and egg sandwiches are always a hit with me. I told her thank you as Tom and I headed back to drop me off where I got out. We loaded up the kayak again and it
Week Six – The reach into the river
I woke on St. Joseph’s Island. The wind was blistery as the sand dune that I hid behind was not that effective in the morning. Sand was flying all around me as I opened my bivy sack. I debated on zipping it back up and calling my friends or making a go at the day.
